2024 NFL international games: Schedule for upcoming season features Giants, Patriots and more

Maybe they should call it the "International Football League."
On May 15, the NFL revealed that five regular-season games will be played on foreign gridirons over the course of the 2024 season. This international circuit, some familiar venues are set to host games, while Brazil gets its first-ever regular season game.
In 2023, five international games were played: London hosted three games, while Germany (in Munich and Frankfurt) hosted two. The rest of the NFL schedule is set to be unveiled on Wednesday, May 15.
Here's what to know about the NFL's global foray in 2024:
NFL international games schedule 2024
The NFL is set to play five international games this upcoming season: The action kicks off in Week 1, with the Green Bay Packers facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil, followed by the New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings in London (Week 5), the Chicago Bears vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London (Week 6), the New England Patriots vs. Jaguars (Week 7) and the New York Giants vs. the Carolina Panthers (Week 10).

Here's what to know about the schedule, venues, matchups and more:
Packers vs. Eagles in Brazil
- Date: Friday, Sept. 6 (Week 1)
- Start time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Venue: Corinthians Arena
Brazil gets its first-ever regular season game, and it's something of a treat: Two of the NFL's best young passers in Jordan Love and Jalen Hurts face off in a battle of NFC contender hopefuls in Week 1.
Jets vs. Vikings in London
- Date: Sunday, Oct. 6 (Week 5)
- Start time: 9:30 a.m. ET
- Location: London
- Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The NFL international series gets back underway a month later in Week 5, when the Jets and Vikings meet in New White Hart Lane in London. It won't take long for international fans to get familiar with quarterback J.J. McCarthy, the Vikings' first-round selection, as he potentially faces off against the ferocious Jets defense led by Sauce Gardner and Co.
Jaguars vs. Bears in London
- Date: Sunday, Oct. 13 (Week 6)
- Start time: 9:30 a.m. ET
- Location: London
- Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
It's a showdown of No. 1 picks: Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, takes his talents overseas to face on AFC championship hopeful Jacksonville, led by 2021 No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence.
Patriots vs. Jaguars in London
- Date: Sunday, Oct. 20 (Week 7)
- Start time: 9:30 a.m. ET
- Location: London
- Venue: Wembley Stadium
The tripleheader of NFL London matchups concludes with the Jaguars facing off against the Patriots in Week 7. With six games under their belts, NFL fans should get a good feel of the new era of Patriots, led by head coach Jerod Mayo and quarterback Drake Maye.
Giants vs. Panthers in Germany
- Date: Sunday, Nov. 10 (Week 10)
- Start time: 9:30 a.m. ET
- Location: Munich, Germany
- Venue: Allianz Arena
The final matchup of the 2024 NFL slate features the Panthers and Giants. The Panthers are looking to rebound from a disappointing season in which 2023 No. 1 pick Bryce Young underdelivered, while the Giants are hoping that a retooled offense featuring wideout Malik Nabers can keep them in the NFC playoff hunt in 2024.
